Many Different Ways To Help! Agapé Boarding School is a ministry of Agapé Baptist Church and, as such, receives no State or Federal tax monies. All of our funds to build and operate our program, other than tuition, come from the private sector; in other words, people just like you. We can receive donations from individuals, foundations, corporations, clubs, special events and even other churches. Many caring people faithfully and consistently send gifts to support our ministry to at-risk teenage boys. Since Agapé Boarding School is a non-profit ministry of Agapé Baptist Church, all gifts to Agapé are classified as tax-deductible contributions. We are often asked how we are able to offer such a comprehensive program for such a low tuition. Our tuition is lower by a half or more than most comparable programs. The answer is simple and lies in the self-less dedication of our staff and the generous, regular contributions from people like you. We hate to deny access to Agapé to any parents of a troubled teen simply for financial considerations. Please help today! Every gift of any amount is greatly appreciated! If you wish, you can designate a particular program or need, or you can simply give a general gift to augment the daily operating budget. You may even dedicate a gift in the name of a friend in honor of their birthday, anniversary or other special occasion or, in honor of the memory of a departed loved one. A special card will be sent to the appropriate person telling them that a gift has been made for the appropriate occasion or in honor of their loved one. Of course, no amount will be divulged. 5th Annual "Walk For The Future" Walk-a- thon In the last 18 years, Agapé Boarding School has helped thousands of young men receive a quality education, learn a variety of vocations, receive structure in the development of character and wisdom, and become productive members of society. Agapé has also been the second chance for many drop-outs that were deeply involved in drugs, gangs, or a life on the streets. To keep the dream alive and to serve the next generation of our country's young people, we are conducting our 4th annual "Walk For The Future" walk-a-thon! |
